Pending Accounts

This page displays account information that has been identified during the Account Discovery process but has not yet been added to the Vault.
Administrators can review, approve, or exclude discovered accounts from this section.

Dependency Account​

A Dependency Account indicates that the discovered account is associated with a dependency, such as a Windows Service, Task Scheduler job, or IIS application pool.
This information helps determine where and how the discovered account is used within the system.

Example:
A service account named svc-backup might be discovered under both “Windows Service” and “Scheduled Task.”
In such cases, dependency details show the corresponding connection points and usage contexts.

Summary​

The Pending Accounts page is used to review and validate discovered accounts before adding them to the Vault.
This step ensures that incorrect or unnecessary accounts can be filtered out before being stored in the system.
